Saumya Sao is a current medical student at Stanford. Saumya graduated from Duke University (Class of 2020) with a BA in Global Health with distinction and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, as an Angier B. Duke Merit Scholar. Saumya is interested in health behavior and is passionate about improving healthcare infrastructure and access to quality healthcare, particularly for maternal and reproductive health. Saumya hopes to continue studying and dismantling reproductive health stigma to remove barriers to care for vulnerable populations.
