Dr. Claudia Douglas, MD, MS, (she/her) was born and raised in North Carolina. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado before moving to Seattle, WA for an adolescent medicine and T32 research fellowship. Currently, she is a clinician scientist and acting assistant professor at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her clinical and research interest involves identifying and addressing sexual and reproductive health disparities, particularly among Black adolescents. Her work utilizes mixed methods research to identify where and how adolescents access care as well as implementation science methodologies to improve care delivery.
